Suri, the headquarter of Birbhun, Situated about 200 km North-West of Kolkata.  From Howrah / Sealdah one can reach Ahmedpur or Saithia or Bolpur which are well-connected to Suri by bus / taxi. State bus service are also available from the cities like Asansol, Durgapur, Malda, Siliguri etc. Direct Rail communication is also available from Howrah to Suri through Andal - Saithia loop line.
